Good Sunday Morning!

Good morning, dear readers! I hope that you are ready for a blessed day, even if you choose to go to church online! I don’t know, man, but worshipping from home has been one of the best blessings of the COVID crisis for me personally as an anti-social girl, but I know some folks are missing church on Sunday. In any case, I know that what is important is that we do worship, because our Lord and Saviour does need our willing hearts to come together. I mean He’s okay without us, but He sure does love us. “To the max!” As our late friend David Berman described in one of his love songs. Gotta keep the songs in our hearts, certainly.

I’m just having some coffee right now, and thought I’d say “hey,” right quick. I left my husband downstairs with his video game, but it appears that he also has been called by the coffee I made. Whatever it takes. It’s so funny to me that I compete with a video game for my husband’s time, especially considering how old we both are, but I guess this is how things go now, in this world of wonders.

I hope that you all have ben having lovely days, and that your vaccinations are moving right along, and that you are cleaning surfaces like champs. Not to make light of a tragic situation, but perhaps this is a wake-up call to clean up, all you dirty monsters (like myself). I mean things may have been getting out of hand for some time now with us not being carefully tidy, so this is somewhat of an awakening. I don’t know about you all, but it is making me more appreciative of life, that I do cherish now. Coming out of Depression, by Susan Gray. Maybe one day I’ll write a book about recovery, because I earnestly believe that it may happen, and that we ought not lose hope entirely ever. But if we do, I think that God is kind and does not make us rot in Hell, because what would be the point of that. Seriously.

Punitive faith aside, I believe in a Loving Father, his Life-Affirming Son, and A Spirit so Holy that He dwells within us as our friendly Comforter to get us through the tough times. To anyone struggling with mental health issues, I send up a prayer for your recovery, and my own, and for healing of our beautiful Human Species. Please have a blessed and wonderful Sunday, friends, and may your hearts fill up with love today.
