Those Teacups!

Seriously, y’all, I convinced my husband to carry me back to the dollar store and I got two more of those glass teacups that I love so much. It was one of those days. We even found a new restaurant to enjoy on a budget, for take-out, of course. That was lunch, and then dinner, at least for me, not so for my husband, who ate the lunch all at lunch-time.

Had a strange Facebook event occur today, probably not unlike those time-travel paradoxes. My mother violated protocol and spoke to a friend of a friend, expressing her political views no less. It just made me sad for all humanity, much like American politics currently. I did my part though, I did my research and I voted according to my beliefs, and did not tell my mother what I did. Schoolteachers should not be permitted to have children, and if they do, they should not boss around relative strangers to themselves with odd portents.

Will the pandemic change everything and cause folks to mind their own business? Or will everyone continue to tell everybody else what to think, in this current day and age? I do not know what the future holds, but I do know dogs and babies and kitty cats are the cutest of creatures, and we just should all keep on trying to make it through the day. I’m going to try and clip my toenails without injury now.
